Job summary

TE Connectivity Rapho Park in Manheim, PA is seeking a Production Machinist I for the 4th shift (Fri-Sun, 6 am–6 pm) with a 22% shift premium on the hourly rate.

You will operate CNC machines (Citizen, SR10, Tsugami), read blueprints and specs, perform quality checks, document production, troubleshoot flow issues, and maintain a safe, clean work area while meeting quality and productivity standards on a climate-controlled floor.

Qualifications

  • ITAR restrictions require US citizenship or lawful permanent residency.
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints, diagrams and specifications.
  • Flexibility to work overtime to meet company demands.
  • Strong attention to detail and team collaboration.
  • High School Diploma or GED and relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machining equipment and perform secondary tasks such as tumbling, reworking and cleaning.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, drawings, bills of materials and specifications.
  • Troubleshoot operations and flow issues with the team.
  • Perform quality checks and document defects and corrective actions.
  • Maintain safety and cleanliness of the work area and records of production quantities.

Shift and Schedule

This position will be working 4th shift which works Friday through Sunday 6 am – 6 pm.

Individuals working 4th shift receive 22% shift premium on top of their hourly rate.

Job Requirements
  • Responsibilities:
    • Applies basic job skills to operate CNC machining equipment and perform various secondary tasks such as tumbling, reworking, and cleaning
    • Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately operate CNC machining equipment.
    • Work with team to trouble shoot operations and/or flow issues
    • Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards, and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
    • Meet documented and communicated standards for quality and productivity
    • Keep records of production quantities and time
    • Work safely with small hand tools and measuring equipment
    • Maintain a safe and clean work area by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
  • Duties could include:
    • Operate Screw Machine: Citizen, SR10, Tsugami, SR20 Machine
    • Operate Milling
    • Shipping
    • Secondary work.

Qualifications:

  • Due to ITAR restrictions, US Citizenship or US Lawful Permanent Residency is required for this position
  • Use independent judgement and basic problem-solving skills to accomplish tasks
  • Follow both written and verbal instructions, with a high attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work overtime to meet company demands
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Relevant work experience

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift 40 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time

COMPENSATION

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $19.61- $29.42 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
