Job summary

Old World Industries is seeking a Maintenance Technician to serve as a hands-on technical resource for resolving equipment problems and assisting with diagnosing production issues. You will identify corrective actions, procure parts, and perform repairs under shift supervision.

The role requires 2+ years of related experience or a technical degree, strong mechanical aptitude, and proficiency with PPE, documentation, and basic PC tools. A competitive benefits package accompanies this position.

Qualifications

2+ years of related work experience, or a technical degree related to maintenance or other related field.
Demonstrate good mechanical aptitude.
Accurately multiply, divide, add, and subtract whole numbers to resolve practical problems.
Operate a computer with spreadsheets and reporting software.

Responsibilities

Performs preventive maintenance on production machinery to ensure consistent operation.
Diagnoses equipment problems and proposes corrective actions.
Orders parts and maintains inventory for maintenance needs.
Maintains maintenance records and documents actions and results.
Ensures a safe, clean working environment and adheres to procedures and regulations.
