Job summary

Old World Industries is hiring a Maintenance Technician to serve as a hands-on technical resource for resolving equipment problems affecting production. The role includes diagnosing tooling and machine issues, procuring parts, and performing repairs, reporting to the on-shift Supervisor.

A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered. The position requires 2+ years of related experience or a technical degree, strong mechanical aptitude, PC proficiency, and the ability to follow instructions and maintain

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related work experience or a technical degree related to maintenance.
• Demonstrate good mechanical aptitude.
• PC proficiency; ability to use spreadsheets and reporting software.
• Wear and use required PPE per site rules.
• Understand written instructions and document accordingly.
• Use logical troubleshooting to resolve production issues.
• Maintain safety, quality, and efficiency in tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operation of machinery by completing maintenance on production machines.
• Locate problems by observing devices and using test instruments.
• Record actions and communicate irregularities for continuity.
• Prepare maintenance reports and maintain inventories.
• Perform equipment repairs and procure replacement parts as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment per procedures.
• Contribute to team effort and meet production goals.
