Job summary

Old World Industries is seeking a Maintenance Technician to serve as a hands-on resource for resolving equipment problems affecting production. You will identify corrective actions, procure parts, and perform repairs while reporting to the shift supervisor.

This role requires 2+ years of related experience or a technical degree, strong mechanical aptitude, and solid PC skills for spreadsheets and reporting. You will work safely, document actions, and contribute to uptime and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years related maintenance experience or technical degree.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• PC proficiency; able to use spreadsheets and reporting software.
• Ability to read instructions and document work clearly.
• Wear and use PPE; follow safety procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production machinery to ensure uptime.
• Identify mechanical problems and determine corrective actions.
• Procure replacement parts and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Document actions, report maintenance activities, and monitor inventory.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment; comply with regulations.
