Job summary

Welch’s is hiring 15 Production Machine Operators for second and third shifts at our North East, PA facility. You will operate automated equipment to produce and package Welch’s fruit-based products, monitor quality, perform changeovers, and help keep lines running safely and efficiently.

We offer union wages with shift differentials, training, and opportunities to build skills across production areas. Candidates must be able to work weekends/holidays as scheduled and maintain good attendance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to work second shift (3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.) or third shift (11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.).
• Availability to work weekends and holidays when scheduled.
• Reliable and consistent attendance.
• Ability to learn and safely operate automated manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to follow written instructions and established processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated production and packaging equipment using computerized controls.
• Rotate among production and packaging tasks.
• Monitor equipment and make minor adjustments to keep the line running.
• Complete changeovers and basic maintenance (oil/grease).
• Follow safety procedures and lockout/tagout rules.
• Inspect line setups and report equipment issues.
• Perform product-quality checks and production records.
