Job summary

Oldcastle, a CRH company, is a leading provider of outdoor living products and infrastructure solutions across North America. This facility seeks a motivated team member to support machine operators and production teams with maintenance, cleanup, yard work, and material handling.

Responsibilities include inspecting products, assisting in setup, operating equipment per safety guidelines, loading/unloading trucks, and maintaining inventory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to follow production and safety procedures.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Handle assignments in a repetitive and/or sequential order for completing tasks assigned
• Inspect the quality of products according to standards
• Assist in maintaining accurate production
• Perform machine clean-up, set-up, and other functions associated with job changes
• Use security gear at all times and follow all safety regulations
• Operate machinery or equipment as trained and instructed following safety guidelines at all times
• Assist lead operator in preparing for shift production
• May be required to operate equipment such as hoppers, bagging and sealer machines, forklift, palletizers, hydraulic equipment, powered tractors or vehicles, among others. Internal certification/training is required for these tasks
• Assist in the loading/unloading of trucks
• Maintain, verify and count product inventory
• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
