Job summary

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate high speed packaging machines (vertical fill form seal, slicing, cup, bagging).
• Perform daily pre-operational maintenance checks.
• Disassemble and reassemble machines correctly.
• Monitor product to ensure quality standards are achieved.
• Retrieve raw material and stage in designated location.
• Fill machine with material to ensure uptime.
• Work in a team of 3-6 and communicate to maintain flow.
• Perform sanitation during shift and weekly cleanings.
• Overtime may be required.
• All other duties assigned.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Summary:

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment to meet production requirements. The Machine Operator receives direction from the Line Lead, Supervisor, and Manager.

• Set up and operate high speed vertical fill form seal packaging machines, slicing machine, cup machines or bagging machines.
• Perform daily pre-operational maintenance checks.
• Able to disassemble and reassemble machine correctly.
• Monitor and evaluate product to confirm quality standards are achieved.
• Retrieve raw material and stage in designated location.
• Fill machine with material to ensure uptime.
• Work within a team of 3-6 workers, proactively seeking communication to maintain product flow, and assist in other jobs where needed.
• Able to perform sanitation throughout the shift and participate in weekly cleanings.
• Able to work overtime based on business needs.
• All other duties assigned

Production schedules are as follows but may be modified based on business needs.

• 1 st shift: 4:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• 2 nd shift: 4:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.

Requirements:
