Job summary

Case Paper Company is seeking a motivated Machine Operator in Chicago, IL. You will set up, run, and monitor production lines, ensuring safe operation and quality standards. Responsibilities include loading materials, performing adjustments, and documenting production metrics.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing/production environment with exposure to noise, dust, moving machinery, and varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor assigned production machinery.
• Perform equipment adjustments to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
• Load raw materials into machines and remove finished products.
• Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions or quality issues to the supervisor or maintenance team.
• Accurately complete production, quality, and downtime documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety policies.
• Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety procedures, including proper use of PPE.
• Assist with changeovers, setup, and startup of production lines.
• Work collaboratively with team members, maintenance personnel, and supervisors to meet production goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned
