Scotts Miracle-Gro in Brighton, CO is seeking a Machine Operator to run computer controlled production systems and ensure quality across shifts. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, following instructions, and maintaining a clean work area.

Overtime and weekend work may be required, with weekly pay and starting wage around $24.15 per hour. You'll join a production team focused on efficient mixing of raw materials, calibration of equipment, and routine safety checks to keep operations

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of production plant experience preferred.
• Able to read English and follow directions.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and work in dusty environment; tolerate hot/cold conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate a computer controlled production system for multiple raw material ingredients.
• Solve daily operations problems with limited supervision.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in the assigned area.
• Complete daily job checklists and equipment checks/calibrations.
• Maintain records of raw materials, samples and equipment operations.
• Operate a forklift to transport materials.
• Perform safety audits on equipment.
• Set up machines at the start of shift and calibrate them.
• Monitor and troubleshoot machines during production procedures.
• Ensure preventative maintenance and quality checks.
