Job summary

Allen Distribution in Carlisle, PA, is seeking a Machine Operator (Case Packer) to maintain production line equipment and meet schedule goals. This is a full-time 1st shift position on a 5:30am–4:00pm schedule with overtime potential.

You will follow SOPs, perform changeovers, monitor quality, and ensure safety while supporting continuous improvement efforts. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and working in a non-climate controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment.
• Ability to perform basic mechanical functions.
• Understanding of the production schedule.

Responsibilities

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and customer work instructions.
• Minimize machine downtime through troubleshooting.
• Complete machine changeovers in SOP time frames.
• Insure machines run at established SOP speeds.
• Keep machines loaded with packaging materials.
• Responsible for Weekly Machine PM.
• Inspect and clean relevant machine components and areas.
• Maintain daily housekeeping of the operation area.
• Follow safety policies and use PPE as required.
