McCain Foods is hiring a Production Machine Operator in Grand Island, NE. You will operate all related production equipment safely and efficiently to produce a quality product, with two 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 6 months to 1 year of related experience or training. You will monitor lines, adjust equipment, maintain GMPs, and participate in training and end-of-shift reporting.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent plus six months to one-year related experience or training.
• Proficiency in team building; excellent communication/interpersonal skills to motivate, encourage, train, direct, and coach employees.
• Must be able to enter data into a computer.
• Must be able to comprehend, read, write, and communicate in Basic English and interact with all levels of the organization.

Aufgaben

• Set up production lines to meet product specs and adjust equipment.
• Monitor equipment to reduce waste and adjust flow/blend rates as needed.
• Report changes, malfunctions, or deviations to the Production Supervisor.
• Complete end-of-shift reports and evaluate line worker performance.
• Maintain GMPs and safety procedures; wear PPE.
• Perform light maintenance on production equipment.
