2nd Shift (3:00 pm - 11:00 pm) - Production Lines Hourly Rate: $14.68+, plus benefits

Position Summary: Tends machines that perform packaging functions such as filling, marking, labeling, banding, taping, packing, or wrapping containers. Responsibilities include:

• Starting machines and monitoring operation for malfunctions.
• Reporting and troubleshooting machine issues.
• Making minor adjustments and repairs.
• Inspecting filled containers for quality and specifications.
• Feeding products and unloading packaged goods.
• Replenishing packaging supplies.
• Handling containers and operating controls for cleaning, labeling, and sealing.
• Ensuring machine cleanliness and assembly.
• Verifying lot numbers and batch information.
• Assisting in line clearance and production start-up procedures.
• Monitoring print quality and making adjustments as necessary.
• Assisting packers with labeling and palletizing finished goods.
• Checking for defects or discrepancies in finished products.
• Counting and reporting production output.
• Performing duties of Production Machine Operator II as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, or up to 6 months packaging experience or training. Basic understanding of at least two production or packaging machines (including Simplex). Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds frequently.
