Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a Production Loader in Calera, AL. This role runs on 1st shift, Monday through Friday, with a pay rate of $15.00 per hour and a focus on keeping lines moving and ensuring safe, efficient operations.

You’ll load ingredients, assist with material handling, and follow strict production instructions to meet daily goals. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, ability to read and follow procedures, and the physical capability to handle heavy materials.

Responsibilities

  • Load spice ingredients and raw materials into industrial mixers according to production specifications.
  • Safely lift, transport, and position bags of ingredients for processing.
  • Follow production schedules, work instructions, and safety procedures.
  • Monitor material flow to support efficient production operations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Education Requirements

Experience Requirements
  • Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred
  • Experience working in food manufacturing or industrial environments is a plus
  • Ability to safely lift and move heavy materials throughout the shift
  • Experience working in fast-paced production environments preferred

  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to safety and quality standards
  • Ability to maintain productivity while performing repetitive tasks
  • Willingness to work mandatory overtime as needed to support production demands
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to frequently lift, carry, and move heavy bags of ingredients
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding manufacturing environment
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of continuous material handling and production support
Job Duties

  • Safely lift, transport, and position bags of ingredients for processing
  • Follow production schedules, work instructions, and safety procedures
  • Monitor material flow to support efficient production operations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Assist with material handling, production support, and general labor duties as assigned
  • Work effectively with team members to achieve daily production goals
  • Support quality, food safety, and workplace safety initiatives
  • Perform additional production and warehouse tasks as needed
