Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Columbia, MO is seeking an Operations Technician to process and handle raw meat while ensuring quality and safety during 12-hour shifts at the Columbia plant.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting to minimize downtime, daily sanitation, and maintaining supervised documentation. The role starts at $22.80–$23.80 per hour and requires on-site work.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1 year of continuous prior employment.
• Able to stand for entire 12-hour shift.
• Able to work in cold/wet environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Must have a valid State-issued photo ID.
• Must have reliable transportation for any possible shift.
• Must remove jewelry, gauges, facial piercings, fake nails, fake eyelashes, and nail polish before start of employment.

Operations Technician at a glance

Starting pay range $22.80 - $23.80 per hour.

Location: Columbia, MO plant – Home of the Oscar Mayer Hot Dogs.

Work Schedule: (8:00am – 8:00pm) or (8:00pm – 8:00am).

• Any hired position required to remove all jewelry, gauges, facial piercings, fake nails, fake eyelashes, and nail polish (even clear) before start of employment.
