Job summary

Gusmer Enterprises Inc. is seeking a Production Operator to join a hands-on manufacturing team in a dynamic facility.

You will prepare raw materials, operate specialized production equipment, inspect finished products, and document data in ERP systems to ensure quality and traceability. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety procedures, use PPE, operate forklifts and equipment safely, and complete safety inspections and certifications.
• Maintain GMP, ISO, food safety, and quality standards; support audits and documentation.
• Accurately record production, quality, and operational data in logs, ERP systems, and manufacturing modules.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, quality personnel, and other departments to support goals and resolve issues.
• Operate production lines to achieve product specifications by setting parameters, weighing materials, monitoring processes, and adjusting as needed.
• Monitor product quality, identify defects or contamination, and coordinate corrective actions with Quality Control and production teams.
• Perform pulping operations: staging materials, inspecting raw materials, weighing ingredients, and supporting batch prep.
• Set up and operate converting equipment, inspect finished products, package materials, and process transactions in ERP.
• Assist with batch tracking, material handling, and inventory accuracy in the ERP system.

Work Schedule:

2nd Shift Monday – Friday 2:00pm – 10:00pm, with overtime as needed.

This position typically functions in a manufacturing and warehouse environment. Exposure to hot and cold temperatures is dependent on climate. Exposure to moderate noise levels, fumes, dust, chemicals, heat/cold, and allergens especially in the plant/warehouse environment.
