Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking motivated Machine Operators for our Sheboygan, WI facility. Pay starts at $22.50–$25.00 per hour with a $3/hour shift differential on 2nd and 3rd shifts. Shifts include 1st (6am-2pm), 2nd (2pm-10pm) and 3rd (10pm-6am, Sunday start).

Flexibility to work all shifts, overtime and weekends is required. You will run the line, perform basic maintenance, monitor quality, and support continuous improvement while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing setting (manufacturing, agricultural, warehouse or military) or completion of post-high school education in manufacturing/industrial.
• Experience using a computer, tablet or smart device.
• Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing, military or industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate the production line with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity, waste and quality standards.
• Perform minor mechanical repairs and adjustments; work in line systems with minimal supervision.
• Look for improvements to reduce waste and increase production within quality standards.
• Support safety excellence and promote accountability among team members.
• Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
• Operate equipment to defined standards and product specs; monitor control systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production and collaborate with teammates.
• Prepare materials for production and assist in setup, operation and monitoring of machinery.
• Provide training and direction to team members and understand production goals.
