Job summary

Sheffield Pharmaceuticals is seeking entry-level Production Workers for all 3 shifts in New London, CT. You will work in the filling department performing packing, loading components into machines, basic inspection, and efficient operation to meet production goals.

No prior experience is required; we provide on-the-job training. Must be able to follow instructions, lift up to 25 pounds, and maintain dependable attendance to support our fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Pack and load components into semi-automated and automated machines.
• Perform 30-minute inspections to ensure quality procedures.
• Keep production line running to meet production goals.
• Follow 5S practices and keep work area clean as needed.
• Assist with cleaning production equipment and record scrap counts.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental policies.

Production Worker - entry level** All 3 Shifts

Our wellness and first aid products include a variety of creams and ointments, nasal products, and toothpaste all made in the USA since 1850.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform required assignments in filling department not limited to; packing, loading components into semi-automated/automated machines, basic inspection, and basic machine operation as directed.
• Perform 30 minute inspections to ensure all quality procedures are being followed.
• Ensure production line is running to meet production goals.
• Meet the company standard of speed working every position of the production line.
• Keep work area clean by performing 5S duties.
• Assistance with cleaning production equipment as needed.
• Responsible for scrap counts at the end of the assigned shift.
• Adherence to all applicable regulations, company policies and procedures for health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Other assigned tasks as necessary assigned by Management.

Qualifications:
