Job summary

INW: Innovations in Nutrition + Wellness in Benicia, CA is seeking a Packaging Worker I to operate production lines, fill, label and package powders, and help optimize line performance.

The role requires reading production docs, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Schedule is 6:45am–3:15pm, Monday–Friday, with overtime as needed. Benefit options include health insurance and 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be able to read production documentation to insure product integrity.
• Must be able to walk and stand on a constant basis (minimum 8 hour shifts).
• Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.

Responsibilities

• Operate on production lines to fill, label, and package powders into jugs, bags, and boxes at scheduled pace.
• Learn and operate production equipment per training and management approval.
• Assist line personnel to respond to bottlenecks and maintain flow.
• Perform quick changeovers and limit downtime with management and team.
• Contribute to achieving team and company goals, including quality, cost, delivery and safety.
• Follow GMP and safety training; maintain clean equipment and area.
• Maintain punctuality and good attendance; overtime and weekend work may be required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay Rate:

$18.00 per hour

Hours:

6:45am to 3:15pm, Monday through Friday

The Packaging Worker I reports directly to the Packaging Leads, Packaging Supervisor and works with other Packaging Workers.
