Position Title: Operations Line Lead
Wage: $18.00 - $22.30 per hour
Shift: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, weekend
Hours: 6:45am-3:00pm (Mon-Fri); 2:45pm-11:00pm (Mon-Fri); 8:45pm-7:00am (Mon-Thurs); 6:45pm-7:00am (Fri-Sun); 6:45am-7:00pm (Fri-Sun)
Lead a high-performing production team in a fast-paced pharmaceutical packaging environment where your technical expertise, leadership, and focus on quality drive safe, efficient operations and help deliver life-changing medications to patients.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain machine in accordance with batch record, safety and quality standards. Ensure process optimization through routine mechanical adjustments
- Conduct daily line huddle communication meeting – requires review of all shift to shift communication, information acquired during the Shift meeting and VCB (Visual Control Board) results
- Provide direction to other line members by ensuring the crew has signed the roster; assigning crew members to the appropriate positions
- Review jackets and ensure proper components and resources are at the line
- Escalate quality, service, and equipment performance issues to supervision
- Communicate production needs to the necessary support departments to include but not limited to warehouse, quality, maintenance, and business unit
- Update all line required information including hourly run charts and all areas of the VCBs
- Interact with team to ensure machine performs optimally
- Order components when necessary
- Answer questions and resolve issues for associates on the line
- Accurately complete paperwork to include: scrap calculations, recovery and production rates, batch record entries
- Lead and perform lot in and lot out, line clearance, and deep clean functions (Safe guards in place)
- Actively participate in Gemba and/or Safety Gemba as applicable on their line
- May require use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR)
- This position may require overtime and/or weekend work
- Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI Pharma Services, cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and GCP (Good Clinical Practices) policies, procedures, rules

- Work is performed in areas with moderate risk or discomfort that may require special safety precautions, such as -wearing protective clothing or gear for up to 3/4 of the day
- Work near moving mechanical parts for 3/4 of the day and up
- The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate
