Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Team Lead Operator to guide daily production activities on the Columbus plant line. You will ensure equipment functionality, coach operators, and coordinate with QA, maintenance and other departments to meet quality and schedule targets.

Requires understanding of GMP, EHS&S and sanitation; 2+ years in the department and 3+ years in related manufacturing. Abbott emphasizes benefits and career development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in the department and fully trained on equipment and processes.
• Minimum of 3 years in food, pharmaceutical, or nutrition manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of GMP, EHS&S and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Coach, train and mentor operators on the production line (≥75% on line).
• Coordinate with maintenance, QA, scheduling and other functions to meet production goals.
• Identify and implement operational improvements to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Perform first-level maintenance, CIP, sanitation and PM tasks on line equipment.
