Overview

Production Line Laborer NIGHT SHIFT at GLE Scrap Metal – Ocoee, FL. The market leader in Non-Ferrous Metal Recycling. This is an immediate opening on the night shift.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and sort various wire for pre-shred
• Identify and remove non-conforming materials that will contaminate the production batch
• Maintain a clean workstation and production floor
• Assemble packaging for outbound materials
• Follow production guidelines and specifications
• Finalize and pack products for shipment
• Operate and maintain machinery and production line equipment
• Monitor the assembly line and remove faulty products
• Work on the production line and meet production targets
• Report any issues to the supervisor on duty
• Perform other tasks as assigned
• Follow health and safety standards

Requirements

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• HS Diploma or Equivalent
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 pounds) and perform other physical activities for extended periods
• Ability to work outdoors with exposure to the sun and inclement weather
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical
