Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a Production Line Associate in St. Martinville, LA to help move products safely on a high-speed glass bottle line. You will load bottles, monitor flow, inspect for defects, and maintain a clean, compliant work area on a fast-paced production floor.

Responsibilities

  • Remove broken or defective bottles and notify supervisors of issues.
  • Monitor production flow and respond to fluctuations in line speed.
  • Keep the work area clean and follow GMP and safety requirements.
  • Adhere to safety procedures when handling glass materials.

Location: St. Martinville, LA


Pay Rate: $11.00 per hour


Schedule: 6am-4:30pm with one early day reporting at 5am-3:30pm

Job Duties


  • Load and dump empty glass bottles onto conveyor systems for production.

  • Maintain a continuous supply of bottles to prevent line stoppages.

  • Inspect bottles for visible defects, damage, or contamination.

  • Remove broken or defective bottles and notify supervisors of issues.

  • Monitor production flow and quickly respond to fluctuations in line speed.

  • Keep the work area clean and follow all food safety and GMP requirements.

  • Adhere to all safety procedures when handling glass materials.


Education Requirements


  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

  • Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution training is beneficial.


Experience Requirements


  • Ability to safely perform warehouse duties including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately identify products, labels, and shipping documentation.

  • Ability to use pallet jacks, hand trucks, RF scanners, or other warehouse equipment as required.

  • Good organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced warehouse environments.

  • Commitment to workplace safety, teamwork, and dependable attendance.

  • Production experience required


Preferred Qualifications


  • Previous warehouse, distribution center, fulfillment, manufacturing, or logistics experience is preferred.

  • Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment is beneficial.

  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory procedures, shipping software, or RF scanning equipment is considered an asset.

  • Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Production Line Associate.


Physical Capabilities


  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the shift.

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and packages weighing up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment, conveyors, and moving inventory.

  • Ability to maintain productivity while working in warehouse and distribution environments.
