Job summary

Chromalloy Gas Turbine, LLC in San Diego, CA is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily production activities, drive safety, quality, delivery and productivity, and coach a team toward operational excellence.

You will partner with Quality, Engineering, Planning, Maintenance and Human Resources to resolve issues, implement Lean initiatives, and develop talent while maintaining a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience leading production teams in manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement experience.
• Strong coaching, development and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience building high-performing teams through training and engagement.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Quality, Engineering, Planning, Maintenance, HR.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity goals.
• Assign, prioritize, and execute production schedules to meet customer commitments.
• Develop and coach production employees through training, cross-training, performance management, and career development.
• Build team capability, engagement, accountability, and workforce flexibility.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, teamwork, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
• Partner with Quality, Engineering, Planning, Maintenance, and Human Resources to resolve issues and achieve business objectives.
• Lead teams through production challenges, shifting priorities, and urgent customer requirements.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, continuous improvement, and process optimization initiatives.
• Analyze operational issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Monitor production performance and drive actions to improve safety, quality, productivity, and delivery results.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, customer, regulatory, and company requirements.
• Maintain a well-organized, efficient, and productive work environment through strong workplace organization and visual management practices.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, employee development, and retention efforts.
