Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in the United States is seeking a Production Manager to lead shift operations and drive safety, quality and performance on the plant floor. You will oversee labor, champion continuous improvement, and ensure production goals align with company KPIs.

You will coordinate with departments to optimize resources, promote a safety-first culture, and develop people for growth within a global construction materials leader.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience in manufacturing, preferably in non-climate-controlled environments.
• Knowledge of TPS concepts, such as 5S and root cause analysis.
• Understanding of production planning, resource allocation, and coordinating people/equipment.
• Collaborative leadership with safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage labor across your entire shift to keep operations running smoothly & efficiently
• Drive plant operations & lead continuous improvement initiatives
• Partner with all departments to achieve plant KPIs, including safety, environment, people, quality, responsiveness & cost
• Ensure all personnel wear correct safety equipment & maintain safety awareness throughout the shift
• Champion safety & incident reporting procedures, ensuring every team member is trained & performing their job functions correctly
