Job summary

Gryphon Environmental, Inc is seeking a Production Manager / Manufacturing Engineer at our Owensboro, Kentucky location. The role will lead the manufacturing department's production scheduling, shop flow, and day-to-day production activities to optimize efficiency and meet project deadlines.

The candidate will coordinate fabrication, assembly, capacity planning, and process improvement, while supporting sales, installation, and field teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering required.
• Experience with project scheduling and PM software.
• Knowledge of welding, fabrication and sheet metal processes.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with initiative.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel up to two weeks for installs/testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day direction for fabrication and assembly, aligning with production schedules.
• Develop, maintain and adjust detailed production schedules.
• Assist capacity planning, labor allocation, and prioritization across projects.
• Monitor progress, communicate status, risks, and delays.
• Improve material and component flow in the shop.
• Review BOMs, Cultists, and engineering packets before distribution.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and support field teams.
