Job summary

Gwynedd Manufacturing in North Wales, PA, seeks a Sr. Manager of Strategic Planning to lead master production scheduling and capacity planning across multiple facilities.

You will drive scheduling decisions, analyze constraints, and coordinate with Production, Engineering, Procurement, and Quality teams to meet delivery, quality, and cost objectives. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in production scheduling or operations planning, with Epicor ERP and strong Excel skills, in a defense/precision

Qualifications

• 10+ years in production scheduling or operations planning.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or Business).
• Experience in defense or precision manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the master production schedule across multiple facilities and product lines.
• Analyze capacity, material availability, and labor resources to identify constraints and adjust schedules.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Procurement, and Quality teams to align priorities.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts to streamline scheduling processes and reduce lead times.
• Monitor production performance and KPIs, providing data-driven recommendations to leadership.
• Develop long-range capacity planning models to support forecasting and strategic planning.
