Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Production Manager in Everett, WA to lead the Production Department, drive safety, quality, and efficiency, and develop leadership across the team. This role analyzes ERP data, forecasts, and quality metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational excellence.

The position reports to executive leadership, collaborates cross-functionally, and requires a hands-on leader with strong budgeting and workforce development insight.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in production management in plastics/extrusion or similar industrial setting.
• Experience using ERP systems to support planning and performance analysis.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to lead teams.
• Proven ability to develop production leaders and frontline teams.
• Analytical skills to interpret ERP data, metrics, forecasts, and quality indicators.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety regs, and quality systems.
• Understanding budgeting principles and workforce development in production.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Production Department and accountability for safety, quality, efficiency, profitability, and development.
• Lead and coach Group Managers to meet objectives.
• Set department goals, priorities, and ensure resources.
• Guide Group Managers in resolving issues and meeting schedules.
• Oversee performance management, evaluations, and development planning.
• Coordinate Production with other departments for efficiency, safety, and quality.
• Monitor performance, costs, and implement continuous improvement actions.
• Prepare and present reports on Production activities.
