Job summary

Sauder Manufacturing Co. is seeking a Production Leader I to oversee daily production activities on the shop floor. You will monitor performance, provide guidance, and support communication across the team while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will develop schedules, release work orders, coach staff, and participate in process improvements with the Production Supervisor. A Lean mindset and cross-training are encouraged.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years related manufacturing leadership experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing environment with leadership responsibility.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and engage production team to meet safety, quality, and daily goals.
• Develop daily work schedules and manage product flow within department.
• Release work orders in i-schedule and monitor MOD work orders.
• Coach and train team members including cross-training.
