Job summary

Crane 1 Services is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations, optimize production efficiency, and drive continuous process improvements for lifting equipment. You will oversee fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly to ensure on-time delivery and quality.

The role requires 5–7+ years in manufacturing leadership, proven cost and KPI management, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline preferred.
• Proven leadership of manufacturing teams and production workflows.
• Experience implementing Lean/ Six Sigma or similar improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations across fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly.
• Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer orders.
• Maximize throughput by evaluating capacity, resources, and workflows.
• Identify bottlenecks, downtime, and inefficiencies to drive improvements.
• Set priorities, expectations, and accountability for teams.
• Monitor costs, labor, material use, and overall performance.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, project management, and sales.
• Allocate resources to meet demand and readiness for future load.
