Job Description

The Production Leader is responsible for managing all aspects of the production area's performance, including EH&S, quality, and reliability. The role involves supervising hourly employees and supporting operational activities.

• Manage manufacturing processes (Planning, Production, and Warehousing) to meet HSE, operational, financial, and customer service targets; develop the team and area in line with business needs.
• Ensure the safe operation of plant and equipment, complying with internal and legislative requirements.
• Train employees in all aspects of HSE to ensure high performance.
• Promote and maintain a behavioral safety culture within the operations area.
• Set and deliver production plans effectively.
• Address capacity bottlenecks and propose steps for capacity increases.
• Oversee stock accuracy in SAP and ensure data integrity across processes.
• Identify and address root causes of manufacturing-related customer complaints promptly and cost-effectively.
• Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to meet customer requirements.
• Manage team performance, recruitment, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Manage manufacturing budgets and control fixed costs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in chemical operations or manufacturing.
• At least 3 years of management experience in manufacturing.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Understanding of chemical processes and production equipment.
• Experience with SAP.
• Effective communication skills across all organizational levels.
