Job summary

Truvant is seeking a Production Supervisor to coordinate and monitor daily production, ensuring targets are met and safety is upheld. This role serves as the first level of supervision for Production Associates and Machine Operators, coordinating setups, material checks, and daily orders.

You will work to keep production flowing, mentor staff, and collaborate with Quality to address defects while maintaining strict adherence to ISO, GMP, USDA, and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Requires familiarity with production processes, policies, and procedures.
• On-the-job training provided; ability to learn Truvant’s systems and standards.
• Must adhere to ISO, GMP, USDA, and food safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor daily production for the machine process.
• Supervise Production Associates and Machine Operators.
• Ensure supplies are available and set-ups/changeovers are performed.
• Verify correct packaging material and maintain production rates.
• Report defects and work with Quality to ensure quality standards.
• Complete production paperwork accurately and timely.
• Maintain a safe production floor and seek continuous improvements.
• Assist with training and mentoring of staff.
