Job summary

Elite Comfort Solutions, a Leggett & Platt Company, seeks a Lead Person to guide production across multiple work cell areas. You will set up production areas, monitor schedules, and direct a team to meet quality and safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong mechanical aptitude, punctuality, and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions. You will train new hires, oversee equipment use, and help maintain a safe, efficient manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Set up production areas or startup of equipment as necessary.
• Inform supervisor of status of various production orders.
• Direct workforce assigned by the supervisor.
• Follow production schedule to ensure standards are met.
• Check measurements and quality of materials; complete quality records as required.
• Correct quality issues within the department as assigned by supervisor.
• Operate forklift, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Train employees and new hires as assigned by supervisor.
• Complete general area maintenance; assist maintenance as needed.
• Oversee paperwork, data entry, labeling and tagging of team members in work cells.
• Assist with inventory inspections and measurements.
