Job summary

Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions in Wisconsin is seeking a Production Lead to instruct and assist Operators, assign work stations, ensure job book instructions are followed, and train staff in proper inspection techniques.

You will monitor production flow, identify process improvements, verify part quality, manage documentation, support 5S, and coordinate with shifts to keep schedules on track. A High School Diploma or GED and prior setup or assembly experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Provide work direction and guidance to other workers and act as supervisor in absence of Production Supervisor.
• Prior assembly, machine operator, or set-up experience preferred.
• Answer questions and train new and current employees.
• Produce a high quality product according to required specifications on a consistent basis.
• Understand the assembly/production process and the movement of completed components.

Responsibilities

• Instructs, assists, and provides daily work direction to Operators or other workers in production cell areas for process setup and operation, quality standards, and process documentation.
• Assigns Operators to work stations to ensure daily productions goals are met.
• Ensures operators understand and follow the job book instructions.
• Assists Operators with and trains them in the proper techniques of product inspection.
