Job summary

Dwyer Instruments Inc. in Kingsbury, IN is seeking a Production Coordinator to supervise the production of finished goods, sub-assemblies and components. You will report to the Plant Superintendent and help meet production schedules at a competitive cost.

The role requires training and supervising Flexible Assemblers, ensuring quality criteria are met, and maintaining productivity across the plant while handling employee relations and customer service support.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of products manufactured at assigned plant and of assembly methods and manufacturing process.
• Must be capable of maintaining productivity and quality levels as required.
• Require the ability to plan and achieve production schedules via effective supervision of the employees while operating under limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Analyze schedules to determine material and labor requirements.
• Train and supervise Flexible Assemblers for component and final assembly areas.
• Work with Flexible Assemblers to manufacture products meeting established quality criteria and troubleshoot assembly issues.
• Maintain plant productivity through efficient work assignments and equipment/material utilization.
• Provide timely and quality services to internal and external customers.
