Job summary

Dwyer Instruments Inc. is seeking a Production Coordinator in Kingsbury, IN, reporting to the Plant Superintendent. This role supervises production of finished goods, sub-assemblies and components to meet schedules at a competitive cost.

Responsibilities include supervising workers, coordinating material and labor needs, training assemblers, and ensuring product quality. Strong leadership and production planning skills required.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of products manufactured at assigned plant and of assembly methods and manufacturing process.
• Must be capable of maintaining productivity and quality levels as required.
• Ability to plan and achieve production schedules via effective supervision.

Responsibilities

• Analyze schedules to determine material and labor requirements.
• Train and supervise Flexible Assemblers for component and final assembly areas.
• Work with Flexible Assemblers to manufacture products meeting quality criteria; troubleshoot as needed.
• Maintain plant productivity through efficient use of equipment, materials and labor.
• Administer disciplinary measures with Plant Manager approval.
• Maintain dialogue with employees to foster morale and handle complaints.
• Provide timely and quality services to internal and external customers.
