Job summary

Altium Packaging in Tracy, California is seeking a production supervisor to direct and monitor manufacturing activities and optimize resources. You will lead with our Guiding Principles, drive safety, quality and efficiency, and manage performance and training of team members.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 3 years in manufacturing with 1 year in a lead role, and knowledge of blow/injection mold processes. Union experience is a plus and strong computer skills are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• AS degree is preferred.
• Blow or Injection Mold experience is a plus.
• Understanding of a union environment is preferred.
• A drive to strive for continuous improvement.
• Computer skills

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor activities of production personnel and manage resources in manufacturing packaging solutions.
• Lead by our Guiding Principles to ensure safety, quality, production and financial results.
• Oversee process improvement, scheduling, PM actions, and budgetary matters.
• Ensure timely delivery meeting customer specifications and specifications.
