Job summary

Watts Water Technologies is seeking a Leadperson I to assist the Supervisor in coordinating daily operations within the department. The role focuses on safety, quality, and productivity, supporting achievement of pace metrics and continuous improvement.

Under guidance, you will help ensure safe manufacturing practices and effective team development while maintaining compliance with Watts’ Code of Conduct and operating procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to wear required PPE and follow safety rules.
• Strong understanding of confidentiality.
• Good attendance and punctuality per company standards.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment by following safety rules and reporting injuries.
• Lead by example and promote continuous improvement and mutual respect within the team.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and record in-process inspections.
• Coordinate activities to maximize labor and equipment efficiency while maintaining safety and quality.
• Identify and address process and personnel issues; escalate as needed.
• Assess training needs and assist in developing team members.
• Participate in daily communication meetings to stay aligned with goals.
• Perform routine housekeeping to uphold environmental and safety standards.
