Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group in Columbus, OH is seeking an Assistant Production Manager to oversee the Production department, coordinate staff, and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in daily operations.

You will train workers, plan workloads, supervise a team, and collaborate with other supervisors to resolve production issues and optimize processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Four years of Manufacturing Experience.
• Two or more years of supervision experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs the Production department and supervises staff to meet or exceed specifications.
• Determines manufacturing priorities based on production schedules.
• Interprets specifications and judges acceptability of in-process production.
• Implements safety programs to ensure worker safety.
• Assures product quality and resolves production issues.
• Directs routine equipment maintenance and setup.
• Coordinates with other supervisors to synchronize plant activities.
• Monitors machine/equipment performance and responds to malfunctions.
• Inspects products for conformance to standards.
• Ensures production schedules are followed and estimates work hours.
