Job summary

The Atlas Group in Park City, KS, seeks a Sheet Metal Production Supervisor to lead the sheet metal department, manage leads and production staff, and ensure on-time delivery, quality, and safety in a fast-paced aerospace component facility.

You will coordinate with the Senior Manufacturing Manager, monitor schedules, KPIs, and RCCA investigations, while driving lean initiatives and staffing the department effectively.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; manufacturing degree strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in sheet metal forming operations.
• 3+ years of experience in operational supervision or management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems; aerospace experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly manages sheet metal department leads and production employees and conducts performance evaluations.
• Serves as the primary liaison between the Senior Manufacturing Manager, the sheet metal shop floor, and internal support teams; ensuring timely resolution of information requests, quality concerns, production priorities, and delivery performance issues.
• Processes and reviews sheet metal department employee timecards daily for accuracy and timely submission.
• Monitors staffing levels and overtime to ensure operational coverage.
• Identifies staffing needs, interviews candidates, and onboards new employees as needed.
