Job summary

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Production Manager to lead the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of its in-house manufacturing and hardware assembly for autonomous maritime platforms.

You will own build schedules, manage staffing, enforce quality and safety standards, and collaborate with engineering and supply chain to deliver high-quality, on-time hardware in a fast-paced, startup environment. The role also emphasizes scaling processes and driving cost improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field.
• 7+ years of production/manufacturing experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience leading assembly of complex electromechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, work orders, and material flow.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day production activities across assembly, integration, and hardware readiness.
• Own build schedules, staffing, and capacity planning to meet goals.
• Enforce quality, safety, and documentation standards on the shop floor.
• Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and test teams to resolve blockers.
• Lead hiring, training, and performance management for production technicians.
• Monitor production metrics and drive continuous improvement for throughput, quality, and cost.
