Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Puerto Rico is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead lean initiatives, supervise production teams, and drive on-time delivery while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

You will coordinate production, quality, and materials, implement and sustain lean techniques, and ensure compliance with UL, CSA and ISO 9001:2015 quality systems, while mentoring personnel and participating in hiring and performance processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business or Engineering.
• 5–7 years supervisory and manufacturing experience.
• English/Spanish bilingual written and verbal desirable.
• Exposure to Quality Improvement Processes (Six Sigma) and quality certifications (UL/CSA, ISO).
• Exposure to Kanban, Kaizen lean methods.
• Strong management of personnel resources and development.
• Ability to train and supervise manufacturing personnel.

Responsibilities

• Implements and adheres to production schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
• Improve efficiency of personnel and product lines under supervision.
• Implement sustain and improve assigned areas using lean techniques.
• Ensure Quality System integrity and compliance with UL/CSA/ISO requirements.
• Participate in hiring, promotions, disciplinary actions and performance reviews.
• Oversee absenteeism, vacations and leaves; ensure safety policies are followed.
