Job summary

You will assist the Production Supervisor, help resolve bottlenecks, ensure safe work practices, and drive continuous improvement. You will use ERP systems to reflect material movements and publish weekly performance metrics to support on-time delivery and efficiency goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated project leadership responsibilities.
• Experience with inventory management and ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production activities to meet safety, quality, output and on-time delivery targets.
• Identify material/capacity constraints and resolve issues (shortages, expediting, prioritization).
• Ensure safe work practices are followed at all times.
• Ensure ERP transactions reflect physical material movement.
• Achieve cycle count accuracy goals.
• Ensure production activities align with design and process documentation.
• Lead daily production meetings and publish metrics.
• Assist with training and coaching of production staff.
• Apply data and continuous improvement tools to drive corrective actions and process improvements.
