Job summary

Bell Evans is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee the Breast Debone line and coordinate activities of production workers to meet customer orders. The role holds accountability for production goals, food safety, safe operation, team development, and product quality.

Key duties include supervising setup and machine adjustments, enforcing safety regulations, assigning tasks, and driving process improvements to boost efficiency and output.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications and directs setup and adjustments of machines.
• Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
• Interprets job orders to workers and assigns duties.
• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving problems.
• Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers and maintains time and production records.
• Estimates, requisitions, and inspects materials.
• Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of departments.
