Job summary

Simmons Foods is seeking an hourly Lead Processing position in Fort Smith area. The role supports the supervisor to meet production targets while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on the line.

The position requires basic math, good English communication, and the ability to work across shifts. Candidates with a forklift license and a willingness to learn are preferred; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills, reading, writing, computer knowledge and good communication skills in English.
• Bilingual preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Orientate new team members to their jobs, dress code, safety, sanitation and policies, and mentor others.
• Communicate with team members, supervisors, management, QA and USDA on line information.
• Complete required written and electronic reports; assist with timekeeping for line/department staff.
