Job summary

Simmons Foods is seeking a Production/Processing Lead to support our line operations in Missouri. You will mentor team members, ensure adherence to GMPs, safety policies and USDA requirements, and help meet daily production goals.

You will coordinate line setup, monitor speeds, complete reports, and collaborate with QA, supervisors and management to drive continuous improvement and workforce morale across the department.

Qualifications

• Experience leading manufacturing teams and mentoring new workers.
• Strong communication with team, supervisors, QA and USDA.
• Comfort with timekeeping, reports and line performance.

Responsibilities

• Orientate new team members to jobs including basic dress requirements and GMPs; mentor staff.
• Communicate across team, supervisors, management, QA and USDA regarding line information.
• Complete required reports and assist with timekeeping of line/department employees.
• Set up line equipment daily and monitor line speed to meet standards.
• Ensure goals are met daily and improve morale while complying with USDA policies.
• Participate in team development and apply BEST practices across the organization.
• Familiar with Simmons operating systems and policies; communicate concerns and improvement ideas.
• Perform other duties to support business objectives.
