Job summary

Simmons Foods is seeking an hourly Production Associate to support the line in Van Buren, AR. You will assist the supervisor to meet daily targets and set up equipment for start-up while ensuring quality standards and USDA compliance.

You will train new team members, maintain documentation, and help with timekeeping and shifts. A forklift license may be required. This role is based at our Fort Smith/Van Buren area production facility and requires good English communication.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills, reading, writing, computer knowledge.
• English communication skills are essential for coordinating with QA, USDA, and management.
• Ability to multitask and work across different line stations.

Responsibilities

• Orientate new team members to jobs, dress, GMP, safety, and sanitation practices.
• Communicate with team members, supervisors, QA, and USDA about line information.
• Assist with timekeeping, scheduling, and breaks for line/department staff.
