Job summary

GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF SOUTHEASTERN LOUISIANA is seeking a Production Lead to oversee day-to-day store operations and production performance to meet and exceed budgets, while ensuring compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures. The role includes supervising during shifts, modeling professional conduct, and maintaining a positive public image in a fast-paced retail environment.

The candidate will handle backroom production, arrange displays, and ensure safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and 6 months supervisory experience
• Must read, write and communicate clearly in English

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store operation and production performance to meet/exceed budget.
• Lead as supervisor when assigned by Store Manager or Production Manager.
• Act as a positive role model for employees and trainees in all aspects of professional performance.
• Produce donated goods in the backroom adequately. Create a positive public image of Goodwill through a clean store environment, attractive displays and presentable staff.
• Maintain safe and appropriate conditions in the back-room area.
• Keep the store clean and hazard-free by vacuuming, mopping and dusting, including bathrooms.
• Observe personnel and safety policies and procedures. Ensure compliance by Production Associates.
• Be able to perform the duties of the Production Associates.
• Attend work on regularly scheduled shifts as assigned by the manager for the week.
