Job summary

GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF SOUTHEASTERN LOUISIANA is seeking a Production Lead to oversee daily store operations and drive production performance toward budget targets while adhering to company standards.

The role acts as a supervisor when assigned by the Store Manager or Production Manager, with responsibilities including mentoring staff, ensuring donations are processed for floor placement, maintaining store cleanliness and safety, and delivering a positive public image of Goodwill through

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 6 months supervisory experience or 90 days in service industry preferred.
• Must read, write and communicate clearly in English.
• Prior service industry experience preferred.
• Must successfully complete Retail training.

Responsibilities

• Reach production goals guidelines: minimum of 110 garments per hour with a minimum quality standard of 90%.
• Ensure proper production of donations get processed and ready to put on store floor.
• Act as a positive role model for employees and trainees in all aspects of professional performance.
• Produce donated goods in the backroom adequately; create a positive public image of Goodwill through a clean store environment, attractive displays and presentable, personable personnel.
• Maintain safe and appropriate conditions in the back-room area.
• Keep the store clean and hazard-free by vacuuming, mopping and dusting (including bathrooms).
• Observe personnel and safety policies and procedures; ensure compliance by Production Associates.
• Be able to perform the job duties of the Production Associates.
• Attend work on regularly scheduled shifts as assigned by the manager for the week.
