Job summary

National Beef in North Baltimore, Ohio, is seeking a Production Lead to oversee shift operations and ensure production goals are met in a safe, efficient environment. You will coach staff, monitor performance, and maintain compliance with GMP and HACCP standards.

The role requires strong communication, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. This is an on-site position with competitive wages and benefits, plus a weekly attendance bonus.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to learn all production departments and how they operate.
• Ability to read a thermometer and measuring devices.
• Basic math and writing skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and push/pull up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift production operations.
• Maintain a safe work environment for employees.
• Coach and train staff to consistently produce a quality product while reducing waste.
• Monitor performance and report to leadership daily.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, LOTO, and customer standards.
