Job summary

Aluminum Precision Products is seeking a Production Lead to assist the Supervisor in directing daily manufacturing activities at our Santa Ana site. As a working Lead, you will instruct, direct, and inform employees on tasks while still performing your regular duties.

You will help in training, maintain KPI ownership, and ensure production stays on schedule within a drug-free, safety-focused environment. You will report and communicate with Leads, Supervisors, and Managers, contribute to audits,

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in a production environment.
• Strong organization skills and meticulous follow-through.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Basic knowledge to interpret charts and graphs.
• Familiarity with production equipment and workflows.
• Demonstrated leadership in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to assist and lead others.
• Understand safety procedures and instructions.
• Good attendance with no recent warnings.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and direct work activities of employees in assigned areas.
• Maintain progress tracking and communicate with team members and managers as needed.
• Assist in training and coordinate with supervisors to direct production staff.
• Follow company policies, safety rules, and code of conduct.
• Support audits from customers and internal teams as required.
• Report equipment or facility defects to supervisors.
• Ensure safe, clean work area and contribute to KPI ownership.
• Provide cross-training and explain tools and processes to new personnel.
